Less to break, less to hack
We write every page by hand as plain, lightweight files. With no login page to attack and no database to raid, hackers find almost nothing to grab onto. It's also why the sites stay quick on a phone. The website design page explains the build side.
Asking for a change
Text or email Roger. Closed for a holiday? New menu prices? A photo from yesterday's job? All included. When something turns into a brand-new page, Roger quotes it first and waits for your OK.
Which plan you're on
The monthly fee lines up with the build: $49 for a Base camp (Starter) site, $99 for Ridge (Growth) and $149 for Summit (Custom). Full details are on the pricing page.
Hosting questions
What kind of edits are included?
Routine ones: updated hours, a price change, a swapped picture, a new employee's name, a closed-for-Christmas note. Bigger jobs, such as adding a page, are quoted before we start.
What happens if the site goes down?
Monitoring alerts us and we get it back up. Downtime is uncommon, since our sites are static pages without a database underneath.
Will you take over hosting for a site someone else made?
Generally no; the plan is set up for sites we coded ourselves. Roger will still gladly review what you have and discuss whether fixing it or starting fresh makes more sense.
Will my monthly rate go up?
Not while you're a client. The rate you start at is the rate you keep.
